Our Story

Located in the heart of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Capitol Computer & Network Solutions was founded by Santa Fe native Eric Montgomery, as 180 Networks LLC in 2004. Eric initially worked out of his home and visited local residents and businesses to help them with their computer and networking needs. 180 Networks grew steadily over the years and eventually Eric saw the need for a bricks-and-mortar shop where people could bring their computers for repair. Thus was born Capitol Computer of Santa Fe in 2012. Both 180 Networks and Capitol Computer of Santa Fe continued to grow based on personal and customized service delivered by highly trained technicians. In 2014, Stephen Resnick purchased both businesses and combined them into Capitol Computer & Network Solutions (CC&NS).

Our Team

Stephen Resnick

Owner and General Manager

Steve brings over 25 years of global pharmaceutical and biotech finance, strategy, R&D, and marketing experience to the company. He served as Chief Financial Officer of several global R&D organizations. He brings his vast knowledge to ensure the best solutions for the needs of our residential customers and business clients. Steve builds his own high-performance computers and servers and designed and deployed his first network in 2001. When not “relaxing” with technology, Steve is an avid furniture-maker, hiker, and mountain biker. Steve earned a B.S. from Cornell University and an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University.

Amy Weigold

Owner and Director of Operations

Amy has been an entrepreneur for more than 20 years and enjoys the challenges and rewards inherent in small business. Amy holds degrees in Psychology and English along with multiple healthcare certifications and licenses. After 15 years in private practice, Amy joined Steve at Capitol Computer & Network Solutions on a temporary basis during a COVID-related essential care order…and loved it so much she stayed. Amy enjoys live music, camping, scrambling over boulders, sunsets, beaches, and spending time with the fantastic people in her life.

Duncan Gulliford

Manager, Customer Relations and Office Administration

Duncan brings over 10 years of customer service and administrative experience to the team at CC&NS. His compassion and critical thinking skills allow him to make interactions with clients easy, informed and sometimes down right fun. It’s important to Duncan to achieve the best possible outcome for each person, every time. In his free time he can be found spending time with his wife and their animals at home, or popping around town enjoying the many adventures Santa Fe has to offer.

Brian Piotrowski

Manager, Shop Technical Services

As Capitol Computer’s resident Console Cowboy, Brian brings not only over 25 years’ professional technical expertise, but also the ideals of ethics and fair play epitomized by the American cowboy. And the fashion sense, too, of course. On his days off, he often exchanges his cowboy boots for hiking boots, kayaking boots, or winter mountaineering boots. Once upon a time, he dreamt of wearing astronaut boots. On his days on, his breadth of experience means he’ll ride night herd if he doesn’t fix your computer in Eight out of the gate.

Nathan Grefe

Technician, Field Technical Services

Nathan moved to Santa Fe from Southern California in 2021. He brings over a decade of IT experience to CCNS including network management, computer upgrade and repair, all aspects of CCTV, and low voltage electrical work. Nathan’s passion for learning about new and emerging tech is only rivaled by the pleasure he derives from helping people learn about it. When he’s not studying, Nathan “unplugs” from tech by cooking, playing with synthesizers and drum machines, working on cars, and taking long walks in the desert.

Ahmad Buffington

Assistant Technician, Field Technical Services

Ahmad is a New Mexico native currently living in Santa Fe. In addition to five years of experience in the information technology field, he is proficient in customer service. Ahmad has a passion for people and for solutions and he really enjoys helping folks understand and enjoy their tech. When he’s not problem-solving at CC&NS, Ahmad enjoys hiking, playing video games, and watching movies with his girlfriend.

Brendan Lopez

Assistant Technician, Shop Services

Brenden is a New Mexican native with a vast interest in technology. He has a passion for learning and is currently completing his degree in Computer Science at SFCC. Brendan officially started his technology career in a break-fix shop in 2019 and hasn’t looked back. When he isn’t working with tech, learning about tech, or playing with tech, Brendan enjoys getting outside with his two dogs.

Will Boggs

Assistant Technician, Field Services

Will moved to Santa Fe from Prescott, Arizona in 2023. In addition to the seven years of IT experience he brings to CCNS, Will has more than a decade of customer service experience in his toolkit. He has a passion for learning and truly enjoys sharing what he learns with his colleges and clients. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Will gaming, fishing, and spending time with his wife and son.
